Diving Koh Lanta with Blue Planet Divers

Scuba diving Thailand: Blue Planet Divers is glad to welcome you on the paradise island of Koh Lanta where we have been blessed with some world-class dive sites in crystal clear tropical waters. The dive sites boast a huge variety of marine life as well as some of the most beautiful soft corals in the Andaman Sea.

We run daily dive trips to the Bida Islands, Koh Haa, Phi Phi Ley, the King Cruiser Wreck and the infamous Hin Daeng and Hin Muang with the chance to spot Leopard Sharks, Manta Rays and the occasional Whale Shark!!

Blue Planet has recently been awarded the PADI 5 Star Dive Center rating, which recognizes achieving professional excellence. We pride ourselves on being a small company and are therefore able to offer you a day's diving in a more relaxed and intimate environment.  We endeavour to make your day diving with us a memorable occasion.

All our staff are multi-lingual and can speak English, French, German, Swedish, Danish, Spanish, Dutch and Thai. Should you wish to purchase your own equipment be it diving or snorkelling gear we can certainly help you. Our retail shop has a wide variety to choose from and we stock top brand names such as Mares, Dacor, Scuba Pro, Seac Sub and Suunto. We also have numerous diving accessories such as knives, torches and underwater slates.

DIVE TRIPS

Blue Planet Divers offers day trips onboard “Choksomboon 9”. The boat departs daily from Saladan at 8:30am bound for any one of the Andaman Sea’s spectacular dive sites (Click using the map below for more information on the dive sites). Journey times vary anywhere from 1-2 hours.

Your day will start with a pick up at your hotel where you will be brought to the shop to meet the staff and get acquainted with other customers on the boat. The number of customers does not exceed 15 per day allowing for maximum comfort whilst on board and enabling an intimate atmosphere. We dive in small numbers of 4 divers to 1 Divemaster and structure our groups in such a way that divers of equivalent levels of certification and experience make up the groups.

Breakfast is served onboard on the outward journey after the morning brief and lunch is served during the surface interval between your two dives. After lunch, those wishing to take a swim or snorkel may do so, or perhaps a quick nap is more what you prefer before taking the plunge again for your second dive.

The costs for our daily trips are inclusive of full equipment rental (discounts will be given for those with their own equipment), hotel transfers, Insurance, lunch and beverages on board. See our prices below.
